When Aiwen finally unlocked the door, they both stepped in. One enormous bed greeted them. Aiwen was about to comment on it, but Tanyth spoke first.

“What happened to being discreet?”

Aiwen craned his neck toward his lover. “What do you mean?”

“You just told her our real names.”

Aiwen went to speak but stopped, his mouth agape. “I didn’t think.”

“Obviously.” Tanyth rolled his eyes. He stepped further into the room, admiring the minimal decoration, before jumping onto the bed. Elorin was so small, everything was cluttered. It was nice to enter a room that wasn’t stacked with knick knacks and other useless decoration. He moaned when his head cemented itself on the soft, cushioned surface. “Well, by the looks of this bed, she knew we were together. And guess what… she didn’t care. I told you.”

“Look, Tanyth. I’m sorry about before.” He lay down beside him on the bed, his face inches away from his. “I’m still new to this.”

“We’re both new to this,” Tanyth corrected.

“Yes, of course, but,” Aiwen’s voice quickened as his words blurred together. “I do not know how to deal with these feelings and I do not like being judged and I get so nervous when I meet new people and I want to make a good impression—”
